Who are we?
Formerly known as SP Social Dance Club, the club has reformed itself to currently known Singapore Polytechnic DanceSport (SPDS).
What do we do?
The club is trained in the Latin discipline of Dancesport, comprising of the 5 dances namely: The Samba, ChaChaCha, Rumba, Jive and Paso Doble. SPDS competes in dancesport championships and does numerous performances for schools and clubs, such as the National Day Observance Ceremony and the Singapore Polytechnic Global Cultural Festival 2007.
Did you know?
DanceSport is an Olympic recognised sport, still pending to be in the main games.
